National MP Chester Borrows has pleaded not guilty to a charge of careless use of a motor vehicle causing injury.
The Whanganui MP and deputy Speaker appeared in the Whanganui District Court this morning.
The charge relates to an incident at an anti-TPP protest in Whanganui in March, in which two people allege they were injured.
The incident happened as Mr Borrows and Cabinet Minister Paula Bennett left a breakfast meeting in Whanganui.
Mr Borrows was remanded at large until 13 September when a case review hearing will be held.
