Police are seeking witnesses to a serious daylight assault in Rotorua on Saturday that left the victim with multiple fractures.

A man was attacked by five men in the Homedale Road Reserve in the suburb of Pukehangi between 11am and midday.
The reserve is located between Homedale Street and Gem Street.
Police said the assault involved weapons and the victim suffered multiple fractures.
The five men left the scene in two cars, and police said one of them was a green Toyota Celica or Supra.
