People in Wellington are being given a say on whether buses should again run through Manners Mall in the central business district.
Until the late 1970s, trams and buses had a clear run from Parliament along the Lambton Quay and Willis Street to the Embassy Theatre.
The council hopes that reopening the full route to buses will reduce commuter delays and generate 50 new, on-street carparks.
Submissions are also sought on extending a speed limit of 30km/h into Manners Street and Courtenay Place.
