Police said they raided the home in Kaukapakapa after a month-long investigation, and found up to four kilograms of methamphetamine, including one kilogram of crystal meth in a glass pot.

They also found materials and equipment for the manufacture of the drug, along with more than $20,000 in cash.

A 48-year-old Rodney man has been arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of equipment and materials, and possession of the drug for supply.

He will reappear in the North Shore District Court on 9 September.
