Power has been restored to hundreds of Dunedin homes.
Around 450 Delta customers in the south Dunedin suburb of Saint Clair lost power just before 4pm today.
A spokesperson for the lines company, Gary Johnson, said power was switched back on at 7.45pm.
Mr Johnson said Delta was still determining the cause of the outage.
