An Auckland woman is in a critical condition after being found beaten unconscious in her home in Mt Roskill.
Police say her family had not been able to contact her and she was found in her bedroom when her daughter went there to check.
The woman, 46, spent Monday night in intensive care in Auckland Hospital and is now in a stable but critical condition.
It is not known when the attack took place.
