Fifty firefighters have battled a large fire at a packing shed near Warkworth, north of Auckland, overnight.
The fire service said it was called to the incident at 2am and told the shed contained LPG gas bottles and garden fertilizer.
The shed was destroyed and six crews remained there this morning to monitor the scene.
The fire was not being treated as suspicious, but investigators would return to the property later this morning to work out how it started, the fire service said.
