Three people have been taken to hospital following a crash between a car and a truck in the Bay of Plenty.
The collision happened on State Highway 29 over the Kaimai Ranges, closing the road for a time.
Two people from the car were taken to hospital, one in a serious condition.
The truck driver was also taken to hospital, with moderate injuries.
