Police are investigating a sexual assault on a 16-year-old girl in Hagley Park.
Staff at Christchurch Hospital, which is next to the park, alerted police last night.

The hospital staff said the teenager told them she was sexually assaulted in North Hagley Park some time between 3.30pm and 8.25pm
The alleged attacker is described as a very tall, part Maori, of medium build with tattoos on both his arms. He was wearing black pants and a black hoodie.
Police said the victim was wearing her school uniform.
