A large pig running amok on an Auckland motorway has been caught by police.
A police spokesperson said officers were called to the Northwestern Motorway near Great North Road about 3.45pm.
Motorists had reported seeing the large brown pig jump from the vehicle it was travelling in.
The pig was injured and animal management services were on the way, the police said.
