David Beckham's LA Galaxy football team beat the Oceania Allstars 3-0 at Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland on Saturday evening.
The famous English football star "bent it like Beckham" for at least 80 minutes in front of a crowd of 16,000 on a cool night.
Galaxy led 3-0 at half time. However, the first-ever Oceana team did not disgrace itself, keeping LA Galaxy scoreless in the second half.
The Auckland Regional Council was hoping to sell 19,000 tickets to break even for the exhibition football match.
Beckham and the Galaxy team return home on Sunday.
