More charges have been laid against two Tauranga men allegedly caught with small bags of methamphetamine at Dunedin Airport.

William Wiki, 34, and Jay Kiwi, 32, were arrested in September. They allegedly tried to throw away two bags of the drug, also known as P.

They were jointly charged with possessing a Class-A controlled drug with intent to supply, which they have denied.

They reappeared again this morning in the Dunedin District Court.

Mr Wiki was further charged with dealing and conspiring to deal methamphetamine, LSD and cannabis.

Mr Kiwi has been charged with conspiring to deal methamphetamine, money laundering and threatening to kill with a firearm.

Mr Wiki and Mr Kiwi pleaded not guilty to all charges. They have chosen a trial by jury.

They will reappear in March next year.
