Police have rescued 10 sailors after three small yachts capsized in Wellington Harbour about midday.
Police responded to a call at 12:15pm after the yachts were hit by a southerly and capsized in Evans Bay.
A number of people were in the water for about 10 minutes.
A police launch was used to rescue those that had been aboard the yachts, and everyone has been accounted for.
