One person has died in a crash in the Bay of Plenty.
The crash was on Anderley Ave in Omokoroa shortly before 7.30pm.
Police said one vehicle was involved. One person died.
The road was closed and diversions were in place.
Police asked motorists to avoid the area. They called for anyone who saw the crash to contact them.
Earlier today, two people died in a crash in Southland.
