A man has died after a motorcycle and a ute collided on State Highway 2 in south Wairarapa this evening.
Police said the crash happened near the bottom of the Rimutaka Hill just after 7pm and it was investigating.
The Christmas holiday road toll now sits at four, with an elderly woman dying of her injuries after being struck by a car in Takapuna in Auckland on Friday night, and two people dying in a bus crash near Gisborne.
