Police have named the man killed when a car struck his bike in Taupō yesterday.
He was Nick Calavrias, 67, from Wellington.
The fatal crash occurred near the Taupō Bypass intersection with Broadlands Road.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating and the matter will be referred to the Coroner.
