Five people have been taken to hospital after a fight over a dog in Christchurch.
The police were called to a house in Leitch St, in the suburb of Somerfield, about 8.30pm yesterday.
Police said two people accused three others of running over a dog. At least one person was stabbed during the argument.
No further details were available at this stage.
