Police have conceded it is unlikely a Waikato woman who was last seen driving away from her farm last year will be found alive.

Police are renewing calls for public help to find Kim Richmond, who left her house and family last year but never came back.

Ms Richmond, 42, was last seen at the end of July when she drove away from her Wharepapa South farm in the early hours of the morning.

Detective Paul Galletta said since then there had been no sign of her.

"No sightings of her, or her vehicle, at all. We have found a couple of her personal cards, again, we haven't been able to further those enquires either, they were just found by the side of the road."

Mr Galletta said the disappearance was completely out of character and police believed it was unlikely she would be found alive.

When she was last seen, she was wearing a Highlanders rugby jersey, blue jeans, a brown leather jacket and brown boots.

Police are asking for anyone who sees her, or a silver 2014 Ford Ranger ute with the registration HKD553, to come forward.
