Seven burglaries have been committed over the past three days during the early hours of the morning, with stolen vehicles used to drive into shop fronts.
The police picked up two men yesterday, and spotted a car linked to the crimes early this morning.
The vehicle took off and officers had to use road spikes to stop it.
Four people are due to appear in court in Hamilton today.
