A grass and scrub fire in Hawke's Bay that threatened several homes is now out.
The blaze covered 15 hectares in Raukawa Road south of Hastings.
At its peak, 23 fire fighting units and three helicopters were battling it.
A second Hawke's Bay fire, in Puketapu, had put a strain on resources in the area but it has also been put out.
Supporting crews were brought in from central Hawke's Bay and Palmerston North.
