Police say they are concerned for the welfare of a 19-year-old Auckland man who is missing.

Tiuke Mahoni was last seen in the suburb of Onehunga at about 7pm on Saturday.
Detective senior sergeant Paul Newman said Mr Mahoni had not been in contact with his family, which was out of character.
Mr Newman said the missing man's phone was turned off and his bank accounts had not been used.
Police said Mr Mahoni is about 190cm tall with an athletic build, and was driving a white 2005 Nissan Presage station wagon.
He was wearing a blue American-style football shirt with the number 18 on the front.
