The Defence Force bomb squad has dealt with a suspicious object found at a south Auckland property.
Police say the object was discovered by road workers about 8.20am on Beatty Road, Pukekohe.
The rural road was cordoned off at both ends at 9.30am and the bomb squad called.
Police said the bomb squad had "attended and dealt with the object appropriately" and the cordon had been lifted.
They have not so far given any details of the object.
