Grant Tucker went to the High Court seeking an interim order allowing him to continue his real estate work, while his appeal against the cancellation of his licence continues.

But the judge has ruled against him, saying Mr Tucker's current position did not appear to be much worse than it was before the cancellation.

The judge said Mr Tucker was rebuilding his business, which had been detrimentally affected by publicity about the case.

In 2015, Mr Tucker was fined and discharged without conviction in the Auckland District Court over the faeces incident.

He also sent soiled sanitary pads and condoms, after falling out with his former employer.
