A man has died while swimming at a public pool in east Auckland.

The police say the man, in his 20s, was unresponsive when he was pulled from the water at Glen Innes Pool and Leisure Centre.
No information is available yet on how he died.
The pool is operated by the YMCA and offers fitness classes and swimming lesson as well as general use of the pool.
