Searchers have found no sign of a man who went missing after leaving Whangarei in his boat earlier this week.
The 58-year-old man took his seven-metre fibre-glass boat out to test its motor, but failed to return.
A search yesterday found debris from the missing boat at the Hen and Chicken Islands.
The police dive squad is continuing the search for the man today.
