Police want to speak to two witnesses to a fatal car crash on an Auckland motorway this morning.
One person died when two cars crashed at 2.15am on the North Western motorway, between the Newton Road onramp and the St Lukes off ramp.
There were no other serious injuries.
Police said two men in the back of a taxi witnessed the crash but left shortly afterwards.
Officers would like to speak to the men and anyone else who may have witnessed the crash.
