A thief did a runner with a $60,000 ring from a West Auckland jewellers.
Police revealed that the brazen theft happened one morning in February, at the Michael Hill store in Westfield Mall.
The man was looking at a selection of rings, and, when he was handed a white gold solitaire diamond one, he
ran out of the store with it.
Police said he wore a striped T-shirt, grey shorts, white ankle socks and black running shoes.
