Flights are resuming at the Christchurch airport, as heavy fog covering the city this morning begins to lift.

Eleven flights into Welington, New Plymouth, Blenheim, Dunedin and Hokitika have been cancelled today, and several more delayed.
An airport spokesperson said flights were now starting to resume and the airport was open.
She said travellers should check with their airlines to see if their flights were changed.
