Hundreds of onlookers, as well as team members, were on hand to see the arrival of the Jumbo jet freighter, carrying the 50ft catamaran.

The team's opening race in the challenger series is just over six weeks away.

The New Zealanders will be the last of six teams to get their boat into the water in Bermuda.

The defender Oracle tipped its race boat over during training last weekend, and prior to that, the Swedish challenger Artemis crashed and badly damaged its training boat.
