A motorcyclist has died in the Waikato and another person is dead after a two-car crash in Hastings.
The car crash occured on York Road in Longlands, Hawke's Bay, just after 11am today.
The motorcyclist was killed in a collision between a van and a motorbike near Pirongia at about 3.20pm.
The area around Ormsby Road and Kiwi Road is blocked and diversions have been put in place.
The serious crash unit is investigating both accidents.
