A plane has touched down safely after being forced to make an emergency landing in Hamilton.
The fire service said the Air New Zealand Dash 8 plane had 30 people on board and radioed for help at 10.50am.
It said the plane reported a possible problem with its nose-wheel.
The plane circled for 40 minutes before landing at Hamilton airport.
