One person has died following a crash near an off-ramp on a Dunedin motorway this morning.

Police said a truck and car collided on the southern motorway about 11.30am.
The crash happened near the motorway's Saddle Hill off-ramp.
A diversion is in place for northbound traffic between Mosgiel and Fairfield Road.
