Almost three dozen flights have been cancelled and 15 have been delayed at Auckland Airport this morning because of fog.
Auckland Airport said fog restrictions were put in place shortly after 6am this morning, but the fog lifted a short time ago.
The airport said 34 domestic flights were cancelled and 15 regional flights were also delayed.
No international flights were affected.
Auckland Transport said some ferry services in the city were delayed by the fog, while NZTA also warned motorists to take care on the roads, with heavy fog on the city's motorways:
