One person is dead and two others are seriously injured after a two vehicle crash near Tokoroa.

Emergency services were called to State Highway One in Kinleith after reports of a crash just before 5pm.
Police said another person had also been injured but was in a moderate condition.
They said a section of State Highway One was closed and diversions were being put in place at Humphrey Road and State Highway 30.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
