Police said the party held last Saturday at a house under renovation on Dairy Flat Highway, on Auckland's North Shore was organised through social media and was unlawful.

They turned up at the party about midnight as party-goers were on the highway.

An inspection of the house the next day revealed extensive damage both internally and externally.
