A man accused of murdering a woman in her Tauranga home over Queen's Birthday weekend has now been charged with the murder of her daughter.
Deepak Nagpal, 23, was initially charged with Ravneet Sangha's murder when he appeared in Manukau District Court.
At that point, Anna Sangha, aged two, was missing but her body was later found concealed in the same property at Otumoetai, where her mother's body was found.
Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Turner says the investigation is far from over.
He says a big team is still working on the case and investigators have had a great deal of help and support from the Indian community.
