The embattled Waikato District Health Board has failed to meet some key government health targets in the past year.

Details are contained in the DHBs latest annual report, released today.
Almost a fifth of enrolled children under 12 were late getting a dental examination in the year ended 30 June, compared to a DHB target of less than 7 percent.
The number of children under five enrolled in funded dental services also slipped to 72 percent against a target of 85 percent.
Eighty-eight percent of eligible children were fully immunised at the age of 5, up on the previous year but well below the target of 95 percent.
The number of eligible year 12 girls getting the HPV vaccine Gardasil dropped to 67 percent against a target of 70 percent.
And, the percentage of Maori and Pacific women aged 50 to 69 having a mammogram was 10 percent below the 70 percent target.
The health board has been embroiled in an investigation into the expenses of its former chief executive Nigel Murray.
The board's chairman, Bob Simcock, who faced criticism over his hiring of Dr Murray, resigned last month.
