Wellingtonians catching the train this morning are being warned to expect some delays.
All services in and out of Wellington resumed at about 8am after the central city station was evacuated after a suspected gas leak, around 7am.
The Fire Service investigated reports of a gas smell at Wellington station, but found nothing of interest.
Eight services were cancelled as a result and Metlink apoloises for any inconvenience caused.
