A helicopter and a police launch are searching for a diver missing off the south Wairarapa coast.

The man, who was with two friends, was reported missing at 1pm on Sunday.
A police boat was sent to the area, near Flat Point Beach, from Wellington to assist.
A navy ship was also on standby.
