The driver of a car which crashed killing four people in Hamilton in June 2016 has been found guilty of manslaughter.

The jury in the High Court in Hamilton has found Dylan Cossey guilty of all four manslaughter charges and charges of racing, and failing to stop to ascertain if anyone was injured.

Stephen Jones, a passenger, was found not guilty of manslaughter charges and of racing.

But he was found guilty of failing to stop and perverting the course of justice by editing a video taken in the car Mr Cossey was driving.

The four people who died were in a second car that the two accused were racing, according to the Crown.

That car lost control and crashed into a van heading the other way.
