One person is believed to be critically injured in a multiple vehicle crash on Auckland's Northern Motorway near Dairy Flat.
The crash involved six cars and one truck and has caused major traffic delays.
It happened on the southbound lane between the Silverdale off-ramp and the Oteha Valley Road off-ramp about 6.02am.
Police say one person has been described as being in a critical condition and has been taken to hospital.
NZTA says the crash has been cleared and all lanes are fully open but significant congestion remains.
