PM not worried about Rugby World Cup and forum double

7:07 am on 6 August 2010

Prime Minister John Key says he is not worried about Auckland's ability to host both the Rugby World Cup and the Pacific Islands Forum around the same time next year.

Pacific leaders will come to New Zealand next year for their annual summit, the week before the Rugby World Cup.

They have also been invited to the first World Cup match between New Zealand and Tonga.

Mr Key says the tournament runs over several weeks and throughout the country, so hosting the Pacific leaders should not pose too much of a problem.
