Police have issued an arrest warrant over a shooting in Lower Hutt last month.

The victim, a 36-year-old man, was shot in the chest at a house in George Street, Stokes Valley, on 26 June. He spent two nights in hospital where he had surgery to remove shotgun pellets.
Police have issued a warrant for Duane Edward Huaki and say the 39-year-old should not be approached.
Two people appeared in the Lower Hutt District Court yesterday in relation to the incident.
The 36-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
