A 34-year-old man will appear in the Whanganui District Court tomorrow charged with manslaughter.
The charges relate to the death of Daniel Gooch who was found unconscious in Tinirau St, Whanganui East, three months ago.
Mr Gooch, who was 56, died three weeks later.
The accused man was known to him but not related.
Detective Neville Mullany said police collated a lot of information with the public's help before making an arrest.
