More than two dozen regional flights have been cancelled and 23 domestic flights are delayed due to fog at Auckland Airport.
International flights were not been disrupted.
The fog restrictions have since been lifted.
Flights to Wellington, Christchurch, Queenstown and Dunedin were not affected.
