Three teenagers have been arrested and charged after an aggravated robbery in Upper Hutt.
Three men entered the Caltex service station on Fergusson Drive in Upper Hutt last night armed with knives and stole cigarettes and cash before leaving in a vehicle.
The driver failed to stop and police pursued the car, which was eventually dumped in Masterton. The three occupants ran off and were later found by police.
An 18-, 17- and 16-year-old were arrested are expected to appear in court today charged with aggravated robbery.
