A search is underway for a crew member reported missing from a Sealord fishing boat, off the coast near Cape Palliser.

The company said crew onboard the Otakou fishing vessel became aware a crew member did not report for duty this morning.
A Sealord spokesperson said a search started immediately and authorities were notified.
The search involved the Otakou, search and rescue personnel and other vessels in the area.
Weather conditions in the area are fair but are predicted to deteriorate tomorrow.
Sealord said it was making all effort to notify next of kin.
The crew member was not on active duty at the time of disappearance, and the reason for the disappearance was not known at this stage, the company said in a statement.
All other crew were very concerned for the safety of their team member, Sealord said.
Sealord was taking the situation very seriously and was providing support to all staff, and cooperating with all search and rescue instructions.
