A man facing historic violent and sexual offending has lost his Supreme Court bid to stop his extradition to Australia.

Raymond Joseph Tukaki is facing six charges for offences allegedly committed in the Northern Territory between 1998 and 1999.
The Supreme Court today released its decision turning down Tukaki's application for an appeal to the country's highest court.
The court rejected his submissions about the amount of time that has passed since the alleged offences, and about the new life he's built for himself.
It upheld the Court of Appeal's earlier finding that there weren't "compelling or extraordinary circumstances" that would allow the case to be referred to the Minister of Justice.
The charges against Tukaki relate to alleged violent and sexual assault against his ex-partner and her baby, while he was living in Darwin almost 20 years ago.
Australian authorities want him to be tried in the Northern Territory.
