Former Black Stick Gemma McCaw and ex-All Black captain Richie McCaw have welcomed their first child.

She made the announcement with a photo posted on her social media account of the baby holding her hand.
"Thank you for the love and blessings we have received, our hearts are so full," McCaw wrote on her Instagram.
Her husband also posted on his Facebook page about his excitement.
"We are proud to announce the arrival of Charlotte Rose McCaw to the world. Both Mum and baby are doing great," he said.
The pair got married last year.
