One person is dead and three others are injured following a crash in Nelson.

Emergency services were called at 12.30am to the crash on Whakatu Drive, Stoke, involving a single car.
Police said one person died at the scene and three have been airlifted to hospital.
Fire and Emergency said one person had to be cut from the car.
Whakatu Drive was closed for several hours but has since re-opened.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
